PP compounds

PP talc

Based on homopolymers and copolymers in a wide variety of filling degrees and colour settings.

PP flame resistant

A diversified portfolio of flame-resistant PP grades.

PP electrically conductive

Compliant with the DIN EN 61340 standard, it is within a resistance range of >10 Ω to < 106 Ω.

PP glass fibre

An increased stiffness, toughness, strength, and creep resistance of the component can be achieved by reinforcing the plastic matrix with glass fibres.

PP talc

PCW produces PP compounds based on homopolymers and copolymers in a wide variety of filling degrees and colour settings. Talc and chalk are used as reinforcement to improve stiffness, higher mechanical strength and heat distortion or dimensional stability. A special selection of fillers is used to achieve particular optical effects.

PP flame resistant

To respect the requirements of our customers, we´re addressing the increased demands of the electrical and construction industries. Consequently, PCW is offering a wide variety of PP grades especially resistant to flames. We thus cover various requirements and standards, such as UL 94 V0-V2 or VDE 0207 glow wire testing. Our formulas contain both halogen-rich and halogen-free flame retardants. Being PBDE-free our compounds are RoHS regulations compliant.

PP electrically conductive

One of PCWs core competencies revolves around electrically conductive compounds (EC). These range in resistance from >10 Ω to < 106 Ω and thus comply with or even exceed the DIN EN 61340 standard. They range from shielding to dissipative. When leveraging conductive plastics for electrostatic discharge prevention or explosive environment protection as well as securing EMI shielding, we´ve got a stellar record as trusted advisors to our customers.

Properties

  • Standards: UL 94 V0-V2 or also VDE 0207 glow wire test
  • PBDE-free
  • Compliant with RoHS regulations

PP glass fibre

Due to the increasingly growing substitution of high-tech plastics – such as PBT by PP compounds – the variety of use cases is expanding by the day. By adding glass fibres to the plastic matrix we can increase stiffness, toughness, strength, creep resistance of a component and even reproduce mechanical attributes of higher-grade plastics effortlessly.
